We developed a new Drupal website for Family Aid in record time, where people in need of care can easily find their way to the help they need.
Familiehulp wanted to renew his site and place it on an open and future-oriented CMS. The new website had to take their strong brand name to the next level.
"Familiehulp is the partner for care, support and domestic help for everyone in Flanders and Brussels. Our strong brand requires a strong image," says San Cooreman, marketing and communication manager of Familiehulp. "That's why we opted for a new logo and a new house style. A renewed website was also essential. In Calibrate we found the partner to realise this project by an imperative deadline".
Familiehulp presented us with an attractive and challenging project, in which we had to pay the necessary attention to the short lead time for the first phase. Of course, we did not shy away from a challenge and agreed immediately.
On the website of Familiehulp visitors can submit all kinds of requests for service cheques or care. It is very important that the requests reach the right people. That is why Familiehulp has several contact points that Calibrate has processed on the website. Each contact point is linked to a number of postcodes and has an e-mail address. Depending on the postcode that a user enters during his request, this will be sent to the mailbox of a specific e-mail address. All this is achieved thanks to a custom webform handler. The handler then automatically looks up the contact point to which the postcode is linked. In this way, everything ends up in the right place!
In addition, it is important for visitors to find information about their nearest contact points as quickly as possible. This can be done via the handy contact page, where you can find various maps. On these maps, visitors will find the contact point responsible for their region. By the way, the same method is used as for the requests. The visitor enters his postal code or municipality and immediately receives all the information about the contact point. But that contact point is not necessarily the closest one. That is why it is also useful for visitors to always find the nearest training centre, day-care centre and day-care centre. A Google Maps map is loaded per type, but only one map is shown. That makes it clear and easy for visitors. These maps use a standard Google Maps Search. "The dynamic contact page makes it easy for people to find their way to us. After all, family help is always nearby".
"Together with Calibrate, we came up with a user-friendly and strongly customer-oriented website. We start from the concrete (care) questions of people and guide them through the pages to a tailor-made solution. The choice for Drupal means that we can manage the content ourselves, without the need for specific technical knowledge. An important plus for us. Calibrate showed itself to be strong in its technical know-how, clear planning and regular validation moments. Dialogue was and is always possible", concludes San Cooreman.
